About Me
Well, let’s see…
After over a decade in the architectural design and construction field, I left it all behind to be a full time mom. Drawing quickly became an outlet for the many surprising things that parenthood threw my way, and my drawing habit slowly expanded into a small graphic design shop.
Now I work with local businesses and nonprofits to elevate their brands and support their missions with art, illustration, branding, websites and more that are crafted carefully by hand and inspired by my love for drawing and nature (especially birds). I also continue to create art that you can find online and at shows in the DMV area.
My husband Matt and I live with our two little boys, Miles and Mac, and our dog Buffy in Oakton, Virginia, outside Washington, D.C. My “studio” is technically part of the kitchen, but it works.
I love banjo music, coffee, dogs, and the smell of wet leaves in the fall. I make my family go for lots of walks, which I think they will thank me for someday. I will be the first to admit that I’m obsessed with birds, but I don’t call myself a birder…just someone who is always watching and observing.
Finding moments of wonder everywhere is my superpower.
In case you want to know more…
I wrote this blog post about my background and how I got here.
What can we make together?
Let’s get a coffee and talk about your project. Get in touch with me and we can make that a real coffee or a virtual one, whichever works best for you.
