Tint Makerspace

Built for evolution

Unabashedly colorful and ever-evolving, Tint Makerspace began as a small supply shop in Falls Church, Virginia for quilters, knitters, weavers, spinners and other textile crafters. Carissa’s highly curated selection of fabrics, notions and patterns quickly earned Tint a reputation in the crafting community and became a destination and a hub for learning and meeting like-minded makers. Since opening in 2019, Tint has expanded into a second space next door, opening the original space for more classes and events.

Since Carissa is a quilter at heart, the branding for Tint draws on the endless array of playful geometric patterns that can be created with fabric and thread while keeping a light, airy, modern feel and flexibility in the way the various pieces can come together. As the shop continues to evolve with its owner, the brand colors have become more and more vibrant.

We created tags, indoor and outdoor signage, stickers, postcards, email marketing templates, business cards and more for Tint using this language of stitches, pattern and color.
